I am happy to inform you that I am offering psychotherapy service trough video therapy, i.e., using an online video-based platform, that is encrypted and secure.

But what is Video Therapy?

So instead of seeing me face-to-face in my clinic, you will see me online with video.

During the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, video therapy ensured that I was able to continue to support my clients during challenging time. Many of my clients are not “tech savvy”, yet they found it easy to connect with me via the platform I used.

We have all adjusted to seeing each other online instead of in person. What is more noteworthy is that the clinical outcome using video therapy has been very good.

Video Therapy, is also known by various names such as “Telehealth”, “Telepsychology”. It has been used by providers of mental health counselling and psychotherapy for many years, and is common especially in countries with huge land mass such as USA and Canada.

People have found it helpful when they are not able to travel for in-person therapy in the clinics, whether due to physical illness, immobility or other reasons.

Before the Covid-19 Circuit Breaker, I moved my in-person service to online video platform to pre-empt a disruption to therapy. Going forward, no one knows if there will be further waves of the pandemic, or other emergencies that may prevent in-person contact in the clinic.

Video therapy will allow me to work with my clients without interruptions. It will also make mental health services accessible to many, particularly during tough time.

How do you access Video Therapy?

The platform I use is simple and does not require you to download any software or maintain any account.

All you need to do is to scroll down to “Contact Us” and send me a message. I will get in touch with you to provide you with further information on doing video therapy with me.

What if you are not sure of Video Therapy?

You are most welcome to ask me questions! I will be more than happy to address your doubts and concerns. Please likewise send me a message via “Contact Us” so I can get in touch.

Making Mental Health Services more accessible to many

Arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, we all experienced great changes and stresses in our work, home, relationships. We faced these difficulties going into the Circuit Breaker, and will do so coming out of it.

If you find these changes overwhelming, please seek help.

You don’t have to struggle alone.

Video therapy has made it easier for many to access mental health services.

Take good care.
